Early Childhood Development: Open Letters to United Nations

150+ global business leaders signed two ReadyNation letters to the United Nations emphasizing their support for the inclusion of early childhood development in the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

More than 150 global business leaders signed two ReadyNation letters to the United Nations emphasizing the importance of early childhood development in the Sustainable Development Goals in order to build the productive workforce of the future.

Both letters highlighted how crucial early education programs are to the health of the global economy and to society as a whole. The first letter asked the UN to make early childhood development a priority in its final Sustainable Development Goals Report, which would influence the UN’s agenda for the next 15 years. The second letter celebrated the inclusion of early childhood development as a prominent part of the final SDGs.
