ReadyNation works with leaders in Romania to create and support its network of business champions for early childhood education, ReadyNation Romania.

ReadyNation International is working with executives and other leaders in Romania to establish ReadyNation RO, a new business entity focused on public-private sector engagement on early childhood education and care issues to promote Romania’s economic development and competitiveness. In partnership with CEDP Step by Step Romania, business leaders across Romania are banding together to frame early childhood issues in the context of current and future workforce development. The initiative was introduced at the first business leader summit on early childhood held in Bucharest in May, 2016 where the Romanian Ministers of Finance and Education emphasized the importance of early childhood to the country’s future growth and stability.

Business leaders, as representatives of the private sector, understand the problem we now face in Romania with a widening skills gap in the workforce. Better education policies can help our nation’s youngest learners get on the right track in school and in life. We are excited about the development of the new ReadyNation RO network which will afford fellow executives a platform to promote meaningful change in our country.
